Why we started Vargas-London

Carlos Vargas and Reggie London started this firm together because they share a passion for the funeral profession and a frustration with how the industry too often treats families — opaque pricing, rushed arrangements, and pressure to spend more at the hardest moment of their lives. Vargas-London was built as the answer: every price is published before you call, a person — not an answering service — picks up at any hour, and every family receives the same care and honesty regardless of budget or service selected.

We are a Black-owned and Latino-owned funeral home serving the communities we come from, in English and in Spanish, with bilingual staff in-house.

Licensed, and verifiable in about a minute

Anyone arranging a funeral in Texas can check any provider against the state's public records. We encourage it — including for us:

• Establishment license: Vargas-London Funeral Home and Cremation Services, TFSC Establishment License No. 4964 — verify at the TFSC License Search & Verification page.
• Funeral director: Carlos Vargas, TFSC License No. 119648 — searchable in the same TFSC record, including any disciplinary history.
• Your rights: the FTC Funeral Rule entitles you to price information by phone and a written General Price List. Ours is published at the General Price List, and your full rights are explained at Your Funeral Rule Rights.
• Complaints: the state's complaint process is at tfsc.texas.gov/complaints. We would rather hear from you first — but that door is always open.

How we work

• A person answers, 24 hours a day. Call (214) 550-7369 at any hour and a member of our staff picks up — not a phone menu, not an answering service.
• Every price is published. Direct cremation from $1,750, cremation with a memorial service from $4,995, and a traditional funeral with burial from $6,350 — each all-inclusive as described on the pricing page, with the complete General Price List online.
• English and Spanish, in-house. Bilingual staff serve Spanish-speaking families directly — nuestra página en español.
• One location, our names on the door. 12101 Greenville Avenue, Suite 118, Dallas, TX 75243 — in the Lake Highlands area of North Dallas near the LBJ Freeway, with free on-site parking and a wheelchair-accessible entrance, restroom, and seating.
