We're here, around the clock.
Whether you need us today or you're planning for the future, Vargas-London is one phone call away — staffed by our own team, never an answering service.

I'm Carlos Vargas, a licensed Texas funeral director, and this is my family's funeral home. If someone you love has just died, call us — a real person answers, day or night, and I mean us, not a call center. We'll tell you exactly what happens next and exactly what it costs. Nothing is owed on that first call.
What happens when you contact us.
When you call (214) 550-7369, a member of our care team — not an answering service — picks up within three rings, twenty-four hours a day, every day of the year. There is no phone tree and no queue. If you reach us through the form above, a care advisor calls you back within 30 minutes, day or night; email replies may take a little longer overnight. First conversations are always free and carry no obligation; many families call simply to understand their options, and we welcome that.
If you are calling because a death has occurred and you need us to bring your loved one into our care, it helps to have a few details ready before you dial — but do not delay the call to gather them. We will walk you through anything you are missing. Please have, if possible: the full legal name of the person who has died, the place where they are resting (home, hospital, hospice, nursing facility, or medical examiner's office), the name of a nurse or staff member we can coordinate with if the death occurred under care, and whether you would like transfer into our care to begin immediately or you need a few hours with family first. Both are entirely appropriate; there is no wrong answer.
When to call vs. when to email
- Call if a death has just occurred, is imminent, or you need someone to speak with tonight. Voice is faster and more human when the moment is heavy.
- Call if you have questions about pricing, timing, or what is possible — a five-minute conversation usually saves an hour of reading.
- Email if you are gathering information for the future, comparing options for a pre-arrangement conversation, or would like written pricing to share with family members.
- Email if you need to send documents (military discharge papers, prior insurance policies, identification) so we have a record on file before the arrangement conference.
