Tarrant County is the third-largest county in Texas, home to roughly 2.1 million residents across Fort Worth, Arlington, Grapevine, Bedford, Euless, Hurst, Southlake, Colleyville, Mansfield, Keller, North Richland Hills, and neighboring communities. The county spans the western half of the Dallas–Fort Worth metroplex and includes both the historic stockyards district of Fort Worth and the newer master-planned communities of the mid-cities corridor. Vargas-London serves Tarrant County families from our Dallas care center, with transport and coordination available throughout the county at no additional charge for direct cremation and standard-radius memorial services.
Families we work with in Tarrant County most often ask about the county’s established cemeteries and memorial parks. Greenwood Memorial Park in Fort Worth (on White Settlement Road, west of downtown) has served Tarrant County families for more than a century and is a common choice for both traditional burial and cremation interment. Rose Hill Memorial Park in Fort Worth (East Lancaster Avenue) offers ground burial, mausoleum, and cremation gardens. Bluebonnet Hills Memorial Park in Colleyville serves the northeast Tarrant / mid-cities area with landscaped grounds and a cremation garden. Veterans and their eligible dependents are frequently interred at the Dallas–Fort Worth National Cemetery off Mountain Creek Parkway — although the cemetery sits just across the line in Dallas County, it is the closest national cemetery for Tarrant County families and we handle the VA benefits paperwork and transport as part of our standard veteran service. Other cemeteries we regularly coordinate with include Mount Olivet, Oakwood, and Laurel Land in Fort Worth, and Moore Memorial Gardens and Parkdale in Arlington. We are happy to work with any cemetery of your choosing; families are never steered toward one location.
