Rockwall County sits along the eastern shore of Lake Ray Hubbard, just northeast of Dallas. It is the smallest county in Texas by land area but one of the fastest-growing by population, with roughly 130,000 residents spread across the City of Rockwall (the county seat), Heath, Fate, Royse City, McLendon-Chisholm, and the Rockwall portions of Rowlett and Wylie. Many families we serve here have deep ties to the lake, to the older neighborhoods around downtown Rockwall, or to the newer communities along the I-30 corridor and FM 549. Distances are short, but a service in Fate feels very different from one in Heath, and we plan the day around what the family actually knows.
For families choosing burial or a graveside committal, the most established option within the county is Rockwall Memorial Park at 1055 W. Interstate 30 in Rockwall — a perpetual-care cemetery along the frontage road, easy to reach from anywhere in the county. Several long-standing church and community cemeteries also serve rural parts of the county, particularly around Royse City and Fate; because ownership, plot availability, and opening-and-closing procedures vary by cemetery, we confirm every detail with the specific cemetery office before the arrangement conference so families are not surprised at the graveside. If a family prefers a cemetery outside Rockwall County — Restland or Restland-area cemeteries in Dallas, Rest Haven in Rowlett, or a family plot in East Texas — we coordinate the transfer and paperwork the same way.

A lifelong fisherman. After direct cremation, the family chartered a boat and scattered his ashes at his favorite fishing spot, with his grandchildren aboard. We coordinated the timing and provided the biodegradable urn.
