About Stonebridge Ranch
Stonebridge Ranch is McKinney's largest master-planned community, spanning roughly 5,500 acres across the western side of the city between US 380 and Virginia Parkway, bounded on the west by the Sam Rayburn Tollway. It is home to more than 25,000 residents across dozens of subdivisions — from patio-home enclaves along Ridge Road to executive homes overlooking the Pete Dye Course — and includes two private country clubs, more than 50 miles of hike-and-bike trails, and the well-known Beach and Tennis Club on Lake Stonebridge. Families here reflect the community's breadth: multigenerational Catholic households near St. Gabriel, longtime Methodist and Baptist members, growing South Asian and East Asian populations, retirees who moved down from the northeast, and young families zoned to McKinney ISD's Glen Oaks, Wolford, and Bennett elementary campuses.
We serve traditional Protestant, Catholic, Muslim, Hindu, and non-religious families throughout the community, and we coordinate bilingual (English and Spanish) arrangements at no additional charge. Every arrangement in Stonebridge Ranch is overseen personally by Carlos Vargas, our Texas Licensed Funeral Director (TFSC #119648); we operate under TFSC Establishment License No. 4964.
ZIP codes served: 75070 (south and central Stonebridge, including the Villages of Stonebridge and Kings Lake) and 75072 (north Stonebridge, Kingswood, Legacy Estates, and the Country Club area). Adjacent Adriatica Village (75070) and portions of Craig Ranch to the south are also covered under the same pricing and response window.

Common questions from Stonebridge Ranch families
How quickly can you reach Stonebridge Ranch after a death at home?
Under normal traffic our on-call director arrives within about 45 minutes of a first call, and never later than 90 minutes. We coordinate with the family, hospice (if involved), and the JP or medical examiner — you do not need to call anyone else first.
Can services be held at Stonebridge United Methodist or St. Gabriel with cremation?
Yes. Both congregations regularly accommodate memorial services following cremation, and St. Gabriel offers a Funeral Mass with the cremated remains present, in accordance with current Catholic guidance. We coordinate the timing with the parish office and provide a rental cremation casket for the vigil if the family wishes.
Do you offer any Stonebridge Ranch resident discount?
Our published prices are the same for every family, in every ZIP code, at every hour — direct cremation $1,750, memorial cremation $4,995, traditional funeral $6,350. There is no upcharge for the drive to Stonebridge Ranch and no discount specific to any neighborhood; the transparent price is the price.
Which funeral home license covers services in McKinney?
Carlos Vargas, our Funeral Director, holds Texas Funeral Service Commission license #119648. Our TFSC establishment license is No. 4964; complete licensing details are on our Our Team page.
What if we already have plots at Ridgeview or Pecan Grove?
Bring the plot deed or the section/lot number to the arrangement conference and we will contact the cemetery directly to schedule the interment, open-and-close, and marker placement. If plots are titled in a deceased spouse's name, we can help track the paperwork through the cemetery office.
