Is Greenwood Memorial Park the only option, or can we look elsewhere?
Greenwood is the closest and the most common choice for Cultural District families, but nothing about our service requires you to use it. Mount Olivet, Oakwood, and family-held plots in outlying cemeteries all work. If your family already owns a plot elsewhere, bring the deed information to the arrangement conference and we will handle the coordination with that cemetery directly.
What does a direct cremation cost, and does it include the transfer from the hospital?
Our direct cremation is $1,750, and yes — transfer from a hospital, hospice, medical examiner, or private residence within our standard DFW service area is included, along with the cremation itself, the required authorizations, and a temporary container for the cremated remains. We are Spanish-speaking — is there staff who can help us in Spanish?
Yes. Our team is bilingual (English and Spanish) and can conduct the entire arrangement conference in Spanish. Written documents — the Statement of Funeral Goods and Services, authorization forms, and the itemized invoice — are provided in both languages. Cathedral of Saint Patrick offers Spanish-language Mass, and we coordinate with the parish accordingly.
