With deep sorrow and sadness, but also with immense love and gratitude for his life, we say goodbye to Enrique Dominguez Alonso, who passed away on October 6, 2026, at the age of 53.
Enrique was born on December 1, 1972, in Antonio Amaro, Durango, Mexico. He grew up in Ciudad Juárez, Mexico, where he spent part of his life before emigrating to the United States in 1997 and settling in Dallas, Texas, with the hope of building a better future for himself and his family.
He was the son of María del Refugio Alonso and Juan Dominguez Martinez. Throughout his life, Enrique stood out as a noble, fun-loving, hardworking man full of joy. He had a one-of-a-kind personality, always ready to joke, to make others laugh, and to fill any place with his own special way of being. Although at times he liked to joke and to judge things in his own way, those who knew him will remember his character, his humor, and the moments that made him an unforgettable person.
Enrique worked in construction, devoting his effort and his days to getting ahead. His family was always one of his greatest priorities. He worked tirelessly so that his loved ones would never lack anything. His greatest expression of love was not always words, but every sacrifice, every effort, and every day on which he did everything in his power to give them a better future.
He was accompanied by his wife, Mayra Garcia, with whom he shared his life and his family. Together they formed a family with two children: his elder daughter, Barbara Dominguez, 21, and his younger son, Sebastián Dominguez, 16. To his children, Enrique was much more than a father: he was a fundamental part of their lives, a man who loved them deeply and who always looked for ways to help them move forward.
In his free time, Enrique enjoyed the simple things that made his heart happy.
